Anne Marie Schoerner is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, and certified pump trainer with Medtronic. She has almost 10 years experience working with weight management, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes device training. She received her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia and finished her dietetic internship along with her Master of Arts in Education at the University of Alabama Birmingham with a concentration in exercise physiology. Anne Marie began working as a weight loss consultant and currently provides one-on-one and group diabetes education for an Endocrinology practice in Carrollton, Georgia.
Anne Marie is passionate about empowering people to take control of their diabetes and states that “watching someone have a ‘light bulb moment’ during an education session is one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator”.
